Wallet Setup Guide: How to connect to Base network and gain low fee advantage
TriSig escrow funds are locked and released on the Base Chain. Base is an L2 chain officially supported by Coinbase, with low fees and fast transactions, making it ideal for small-amount and high-frequency escrow settlements. Before using TriSig, please add the Base network to your wallet and prepare USDT/USDC and a small amount of Gas fees.
Why choose Base Chain?
- Official Coinbase Chain: Supported by Coinbase, with high ecosystem and compliance recognition.
- Low Fees: Gas fees are much lower than the Ethereum mainnet, suitable for frequent approvals and transfers.
- Stablecoin Friendly: USDT and USDC are widely circulated on Base. TriSig contracts are also deployed on Base, so funds must participate through Base.
Core Step: Add Base Network to Your Wallet
Taking MetaMask or OKX Wallet as an example, manually add the following parameters in "Network" or "Add Network":
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Network Name | Base Mainnet |
| RPC URL | https://mainnet.base.org |
| Chain ID | 8453 |
| Currency Symbol | ETH |
| Block Explorer | https://basescan.org |
After saving, switch to Base Mainnet to connect the wallet in the TriSig Mini App and participate in escrows.

Preparation: Gas and Stablecoins
- Gas Fees: Base uses ETH to pay for gas. It is recommended to reserve about 0.001–0.005 ETH, which is enough for multiple approvals and transfers.
- Escrow Amount: Prepare USDT or USDC on the Base chain for locking and releasing escrow orders. You can withdraw from exchanges to Base or transfer from other chains via a cross-chain bridge.
Before initiating "Create Escrow" or "Pay" in the TriSig Mini App, please double-check that the network displayed on the page is Base Mainnet to avoid accidental transfers to other chains.
Try it on Telegram
After configuring your Base wallet, open @TriSig_io_bot or the Mini App in Telegram, connect your wallet, and start escrowing.
